Dear researcher, these scales are provided on the basis described in our downloads introduction page. We are continually improving our scale translations and we would be happy to work with you if you would like to test one of our scales or to produce a further translation.
Our original 23-item scale.
Please note, the WRQoL 2 Hungarian and Thai scales also contain the 23 items of the WRQoL 1 scale (see below).
The 32-item second edition of the WRQoL scale has better psychometric properties than the original scale and is now available for testing. The 32 item version of the WRQoL-2 contains all of the original WRQoL 1 scale questions. For further information please see our WRQoL-2 development new page or contact us for further details on how to use this scale in your research.
The 32-item WRQoL-2 scale.
The QoWL Biographical Information set of questions is widely used alongside the WRQoL scale. Use these if you want to compare between studies.
The QoWL Workplace Wellbeing Outcome questions are a set of outcome measures that the WRQoL scale factors are often used to predict.
The UK Health and Safety Executive's Management Standards Indicator Tool is used around the world to assess stress at work. We often use the 35 questions from this scale to complement the WRQoL set of questions. Use these if you want to compare between studies.
